Nutcracker Photos

A Day at the Zoo

We went to the Columbus Zoo this Wednesday. Lydia really wanted to ride on the carousel.

John also got the chance to take a look at his adopted Tiger.

John's Last Baseball Game of the Season

John had his last baseball gamce of the season last Saturday. He was 2 for 2. Here is a photo showing him just after he hit the ball on one of his at bats.

John Starts Soccer Practice

John started soccer practice at St. Peter on Tuesday, 5 August 2008. You can really tell that he went to soccer camp this summer. He did a fantastic job...it should be a very good season!

Madeleine in The Nutcracker

Once again this year, Madeleine will be in The Nutcracker. One of the most exciting traditions at Pontecorvo Ballet Studios is the rehearsal and presentation each year of The Nutcracker. This year the Sugar Plum Fairy, the Snow Queen, their cavaliers, and most important of all, Clara and her Nutcracker Prince, will welcome you to the Kingdom of the Sweets in late fall, so as not to interfere with the holiday season. Performances will be October 25 and 26. Madeleine will be playing the role of Clara at the October 25 show!

Columbus Feis

Emily competed in the Columbus Feis on Saturday, August 2. Here is a photo of her in her dress shortly before her first dance.
