We started the celebrations this week with our Sunday Dinner. The menu? A combination British high tea and cream tea delectables.
Then, some of us began another viewing of the definitive BBC/A&E "Pride and Prejudice." We're only a third of the way through. It is long, but that makes it a good way to stretch out our festivities.
Another fun activity? Here you can find a brilliant audio reading of Mr. Bennet's reading a letter he wrote to Lizzie. He's writing in modern times, with his Regency-era sensibilities. It's a good laugh. (Hat tip: The Austen Only website.)
